These are fine wood, and as such should be hand washed. Coasters are 3-3/4" across, more than wide enough for standard glasses and coffee mugs. Since they are hand made, every coaster is unique, and will have a slightly different grain and shade to the wood. We hand- pick each set so they are all beautiful!
