This beautiful sculpture is hand carved from the root of an old teak tree.

The elephant is expertly carved, and the rich, knarled old root is almost as beautiful as the elephant himself! These are carved by an artist in northern Thailand who does nothing but elephants. He is very good at it!

This would be sure to please any elephant lover - it's totally unique! You won't see these anywhere else.

They vary between 6-8 inches long. The elephant himself is about 3-1/2" long. We hand picked each one - they are all beautiful. Since these are made by hand, each root and elephant is unique, but the artist was careful to make them all essentially the same.
