This is a Lanna (or Lana, Northern Thai style) Thai Buddha. It has a stunning gold and black antiqued finish which almost makes it look like old bronze. This is a classic Buddha image. He is meditating and his face looks serene.

This piece is 4-1/4" tall and heavy. It includes a metal stand to display the piece on a table or shelf. Since these are hand cast and finished, each one is slightly different, but the artist was careful to make them essentially the same.
