This heavy, cast lizard metal sculpture and candle holder is made on the island of Bali.

This piece is beautiful. The lizard is cast in a traditional mold, and then hand crafted into a candle holder and hand painted. No machines, no factories - this is not in any way related to the cheap stamped tin items you can find in discount or dollar stores. These are made one at a time, by hand.

The figure stands 8-3/4" tall. The candle platform is behind the lizard, so if you use it with a candle the flickering flame backlights the lizard and the result is beautiful! You can also just use it as a metal sculpture, and the lizard mostly hides the candle platform. The finish is a beautiful black and gold that will blend well with almost any decor.
